Today's Bible Reading...

May 19 - I Chronicles 24-26

The priests were organized for their service in the Sanctuary. Each of the 24 groups of priests took turns serving two-week shifts a year at the temple. The remaining time they served in their hometowns.

What can we learn from these verses?

1. The service was very structured and provided an orderly time of worship.
2. There were many ways to serve in the Sanctuary.
3. The people were together in cooperation not competition.

Prayer: God, help me to serve you with my gifts and talents in the place where you want me to be. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
