Chapter 7 - Noah and his family enter the ark
Chapter 8 - God’s promise of the rainbow
Chapter 9 - God blessed Noah and Noah’s death.
What do we learn from this lesson?
1. Noah did all the Lord told him to do, thus his wife and family were saved,
along with food and animals necessary to stat life all over again. Could we be
as trusting? This is what God demands of all of us.
2. The flood came as God had promised. God always keeps His promise. He has
promised eternal life to all who would repent of their sin and accept Christ as
their personal Savior. Have I done this?
3. Mt. Ararat was the designated resting place for the ark of safety. Perhaps
God will reveal its true resting place for men to validate this important event
in sacred history.
4. When it was all over, Noah builded an altar on which to give God thanks for
the miracle he and his family had experienced in this terrifying experience in
their lives. How thankful are we for the many miracles that happens in our own
lives?
5. God not only provided a living for Noah’s family but He provided for
protection from evil people for all generations to come. He introduced the death
penalty for society. A penalty that still stands on the books in many States
today
Accept it or reject it! It was and still is God’s way of protecting His people
from people who will destroy us. Christian or non-Christian are to abide by
God’s law. Do I feel it is a deferent to murder today?
Prayer:
Dear God, may we always be obedient to Your commands. We know that You have our
best interests at heart. We only want to please You by honoring Your
commandments. Amen.
