Chapter 2 - Moses is born
Chapter 3 - The Burning Bush
Chapter 4 - The rod of Moses

What do we learn from this lesson/
1. God has always had a way to provide for His children no matter what the situation may be. To hide Moses in the reeds where he could be found and taken care of by his Mother and later taken into the very home of Pharaoh’s daughter , right into the place from which he is to work to free his people. reveals to us the miraculous way God plans for our lives.
2. Again, we discover that we cannot hide our sin. Moses killed an Egyptian and is seen by a Hebrew slave who confronted him with the issue. Moses is afraid. Are we not always afraid when sin, not only that God will see it but friends, neighbors, and family will find out? Again, we see that sin cannot be hid. It is always there to haunt us unless confessed.
3. A Christian always finds himself standing on holy ground. When in certain conditions, God feels so real. In desperate need, in time of fear, or in the midst of a joyful experience, we have the warm feeling that God is present. This is our holy ground. This was the place Moses met God.
4. Moses had the promise of God that he would go with him even to face the great and fearful Pharaoh. Not only to provide Aaron to speak for him but a rod to demonstrate great power that the God of israel possessed.
Will God not only go with us and provide all that is necessary for a successful life if we follow His leadings?

Prayer:
O Lord, Help us to trust You for all of life so that we will not lose the way to our promised land, the place called heaven. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
