Today's Bible Reading...

Bible Application Numbers 7 February 15

Questions:
1. “And they brought their offering before the Lord, six covered carts and twelve ___________, a cart for every two of the leaders, and for each one an ____, and they presented them before the tabernacle. (7:3)
2. “Now when moses went into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the ____ _______ that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; thus He spoke to him. (&:89)

Chapter 7 - The Offerings of the Princes
l. These four wagons were given for the convenient exporting of the heavy parts of the tabernacle which could not be carried on men’s shoulders.
2. Two wagons were given the Gershonites to carry the curtains, canvases, and hangings, and other things of the tabernacle that were not heavy but cumbersome.
3. The sons of Merari were given four wagons because they had to carry the boards, bars, pillars, and sockets of the tabernacle.
4. The sons of Kohath carried the rest on their shoulders because they were sacred things that must not be dropped neither carried on the backs of beasts.
5. All tribes brought their offerings listed in the precise order of the placement of their tents around the tabernacle.
6. All animals given ware unblemished and reminded the people that they were intended for sacrifice to God who would be going with them all the way to the Promised Land.
7. Though Moses never saw God, but when he heard the voice from the mercy seat, he had no doubt that it was God giving further orders for the caring and moving of the Tabernacle.

Prayer:
Dear God, We know that you are aware of every part of our lives. We know you want the best for us. Help us, we pray, to do all we can to show you our appreciation for your love and care for us. Amen.
