Chapter 17 - The Scarlet Woman
Chapter 18 - The Downfall of the Great Babylon
What do we learn from this lesson?
1. The wicked woman, which is Babylon, shall be destroyed and all the enemies of
Jesus shall be overcome. This will be a great comfort to we, who pray daily for
the defeat of all the enemies of Christ and the forces of evil they produce.
2. We learn also that all the forces in the world will unite into one Allied
group in a war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will prevail for He is Lord of
Lords and King of Kings. The forces with Him shall be the chosen and the
faithful.
3. Over and over again, the Bible tells us to have nothing to do with evil; even
to flee from it, for if we do not, we will bear the results of our own sin which
is separation from God forever.
4. All who depend on evil persons or practices will mourn the lack of their
sources, or their profits, for their source shall be destroyed by the force of
God.
5. The faithful follower of Christ will rejoice over the retribution of God. For
by Him shall the death of His prophets and saints be revenged and they shall
feel that they have not died in vain. and the Christian shall also rejoice for
in defeat of all the enemies of Christ, the Christian shall live with Him
forever.
Prayer:
Dear God,
Help us to weep over the sins that we see in the world today. Give us of your
Grace so that we may join with you in the battle against all evil by seeking to
win all men to Thee. Amen
