What do we learn from this lesson?
1. Can you ever imagine how much we Christians own? We may not have much, but in
reality, we are heirs of God and share in all His love and beauty in Heaven.
2. As long as we agree with people, they are our friends, but if we start to
tell them what they are doings against God’s commandments, they immediately
become our enemies.
3. We may not be able to do much because of various limitations. Yet we would be
surprised the great way we have been able to have an effect upon people around
us.
4. It would be well if we would all read again verses 19 through verse 25. In
those few verses, Paul gives us a mirror into which we can get a good view of
where we stand with God.
5. No matter how holy we appear to be by our work in the church or in the
community, we must always be aware that God knows our hearts and emotions and
will judge us accordingly.
Prayer:
Help us, Father, to live the kind of life you desire us to live so that the
world around us will know what you will like and come before you to find Your
gift of salvation. Amen.
